As a rule, one hour of actual work requires at least a few hours of preparation, design, trial and error. For example, if we meet for an hour and talk about the project, it probably takes me at least several hours to mull it over, come up with some suggestions or solutions and previous years of experience doing this work are leveraged in the discussion and designs offered. The good news is that I always use existing materials and re-purpose them into new format rather than buying anything.

I also like glass for its special qualities of transparency and letting in the light. I use silver as the connector between the stone and glass and other materials to create organic, fun, vibrant and wearable designs. I pay special attention to the personality of each wearer to ensure they would enjoy the pieces and wear them gladly. Many of my pieces are designed for the everyday to give joy and pleasure to the person who takes them home and lives with them.
